The equities market closed today Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 Positive.

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NGX-ASI) All Share Index appreciated 0.21% (UP from 64,192.20 to 64,267.36 basis points).

330,784,391 volumes of shares were exchanged in 6,251 deals valued at N4,269,702,769.66.

Total market capitalization at close of trading today August 2nd, 2023, stands at N34,973,282,544,146.24.

NASCON led other twenty (20) gainers by percentage gain of 10.00%(N3.25) to close at N35.75 from N32.50 traded on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023.

THOMAWY on the other hand led twenty (20) other losers by margin of loss – N0.13K (-10.00%) to close at N1.17 from N1.30 it traded on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023.
